The KWT leader, Lilik Sri Rahayu said the Mocal flour could be used to replace wheat flour in any kind of cooking such as meatballs, cakes, and other flour based food and delicacies.
She said that as many as 750 kilograms per week were produced by the KWT Mekar Baru but only to meet local needs.
"This is an effort of processing cassava into flour and last longer," she said.
The great number of cassava plants in the area become mocal flour making a background activity. "Initially, the group was only processing local cassava, but now we process those from other areas," she said.
"Earlier, we had a mocal flour industry training of the Industry Ministry and the Agriculture Ministry," she said.
