This opening marks the first of three locations that franchisees Matt McKinney and Allison McKinney will open in the Tyler market and the second franchise location in Texas, joining the Einstein Bros Bagels in Frisco.
The new restaurant is the fifth Einstein Bros franchise location for the brand's parent company, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.
In addition to the McKinneys three-unit deal, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group has inked 10 other multi-unit franchise agreements to open locations in Jacksonville, Florida, Orange County, California, Northwest Arkansas, Augusta, Georgia, Colorado, Utah and multiple markets throughout Texas.
Jeff O'Neill, CEO and president of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, said: "We are extremely pleased with the growth of our franchising program for the Einstein Bros brand. We believe that continued expansion by aggressive growth-minded franchisees like the McKinneys is a sign that the Einstein Bros Bagels brand is a high quality investment, and that we are one step closer to achieving our vision of becoming the fastest growing fast casual restaurant chain in North America."
