StarView uses session initiation protocol (SIP) technology to deliver VoIP services, which allows businesses to reduce communications costs and improve efficiency without having to invest in a new phone system.
Internet America stated that its partnership with StarView will offer customers benefits such as the ability to deploy VoIP using existing telephone equipment; low cost communications; increased productivity; consolidated vendors and invoices; and technical support available 24 hours a day.
Financial details of the agreement between Internet America and StarView were not disclosed.
