With this contract the total transport capacity commitments on the proposed pipeline are at least 1.8bn cubic feet per day.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Construction of the proposed approximate 180-mile Tiger Pipeline is planned to begin by June 2010, with entry into service in the first half of 2011. The pipeline, which is subject to regulatory approval, would connect to ETP's dual 42" pipeline system near Carthage, Texas, extend through the Haynesville Shale and end near Delhi, Louisiana, with interconnects to at least seven interstate pipelines at various points in Louisiana that serve the Northeast, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets.
The pipeline would have an initial throughput capacity of 2.0bn cubic feet per day, with the potential to increase to up to 2.4bn cubic feet per day with added compression.
