CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Sep 09, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NEWH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- New Horizons Computer Learning Centers today reported that, together with National American University, they are in the process of expanding a program that was co-piloted by both institutions to now include the Indianapolis, Indiana market.

In June of this year, New Horizons began offering its students in the Colorado market an opportunity to attend National American University and participate in a program focused on providing students with both a college degree and technology training and certifications. The program was developed jointly by both institutions in response to a large and growing demand by students for the best of both a traditional education and highly relevant job skills training.

In only the first few months of the pilot, New Horizons has already referred several students to National American University that have successfully enrolled."

Mr. Miller went on, "The knowledge economy and technology change have been driving employment markets around the world for many years and there is every indication that this will continue for many years to come. We are pleased to be working with a high quality institution such as National American University to offer the adult learner the career skills and credentials they need to succeed in today's economic environment. We are expanding the program to a second market and look forward to further expanding it to our network throughout the United States and around the world in the months and years to come."

Ronald L. Shape, Ed., President, Chief Executive Officer of National American University commented, "National American University has long sought to offer the best in educational possibilities to its students. The program developed in conjunction with New Horizons provides a unique value to individuals seeking to enter the technology field or to enhance their current technology careers."
