The new mobile Internet site will deploy future 3G technologies, such as streaming audio, video and mobile social networking services to provide users with the most compelling next-generation mobile Internet service in China, as developed by KONG.net, the company added.
KongZhong said the relationship leverages KONG.net's expertise and resources to provide Chinese mobile Internet users access to all of CCTV.com's content and programming.
CCTV.com is China's largest news and entertainment new media platform. It is part of China's official state television broadcaster, with claims to have an audience of about 1.2bn.
KongZhong a major mobile Internet company in China, which delivers wireless value-added services to consumers in the country through multiple technology platforms including wireless application protocol (WAP), multimedia messaging service (MMS), Java(TM), short messaging service (SMS), interactive voice response (IVR) and colour ring-back tone (CRBT).
