Patni Ranked No. 7 Preferred Employer in DQ-IDC's Best Employer Survey 2009

The company was also ranked the No. 16 Best IT Employer after a comprehensive analysis of HR policies across the industry. This rank is significant as it indicates a jump of 13 places from last year for Patni.

The criteria for evaluation for the rankings were two-fold, including employee satisfaction and company initiatives and programs. The survey attributes Patni's high ranking to a multitude of factors, prominent among which are the several new initiatives on the training front and industry-academia collaboration. In the past year, Patni's focus has been to enhance these initiatives through the launch of various global programs such as Patni Learning Edge (PLEdge), Leadership Excellence at Patni (LEAP) and Patni Academy for Competency Enhancement (PACE).
