PowerRating -- 9/14/2009 - Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) said in Monday that its cash on hand will continue its decline by the end of the year as the company struggles to cope with tough economic conditions, according to an AP report. The disclosure comes as the company is considering an investment in Japan Airlines. As of June 30 the company had $4.9 billion in cash and equivalents and $500 million available under a line of credit. Shares of Delta are up 0.12% in Monday trading.
