Quarterly revenue was $4.5 million, down 10 percent from $5 million in 2008.
Todd Wille, CEO of Unify, said earnings were hurt by the economy and "a delay in the sale of new licenses due to upcoming new product releases."
"Despite these challenges, we added 15 new software customers during the quarter and are already seeing an improvement in this segment in the second quarter," Wille said.
