Overture Networks' ISG 6000 enables service providers to deliver high-value Ethernet and IP services consistently to all of its business customers. Overture said its newest service aggregator efficiently grooms all service traffic to the IP/MPLS core, improves backhaul capacity engineering and greatly reduces power consumption in the Central Office or co-location facility.
"We are thrilled to receive this award from the IEC and to be recognized for the innovative work we've done with the ISG 6000 product in providing higher-density aggregation of Ethernet and IP services as part of the transition to an all-Carrier Ethernet service infrastructure," said Overture Networks CEO Jeff Reedy. "Overture Networks is committed to continuing to set new standards in quality and reliability so service providers can offer the highest class and most affordable solutions to their business customers."
"We were pleased to honor Overture Networks this afternoon for its ISG 6000 Carrier Ethernet Aggregation System as a winner of the InfoVision Awards at the Broadband World Forum Europe 2009," said IEC Executive Vice President Roger Plummer. "The InfoVision Winners certainly play a significant role in delivering the broadband promise."
