Overture Networks ISG 6000 Earns InfoVision Award

Sep 15, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- ACSJ | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Overture Networks, a Carrier Ethernet solutions provider, announced that its ISG 6000 Carrier Ethernet Aggregation System has been recognized by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) as a winner of the 2009 InfoVision Awards in the Access Network Technologies and Services category which was announced at Broadband World Forum Europe 2009.

Overture Networks' ISG 6000 enables service providers to deliver high-value Ethernet and IP services consistently to all of its business customers. Overture said its newest service aggregator efficiently grooms all service traffic to the IP/MPLS core, improves backhaul capacity engineering and greatly reduces power consumption in the Central Office or co-location facility.
