NOTICE TEXT: Department of the Air Force Air Force Materiel Command AFRL - Wright Research Site RECOVERY: This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to Universal Technology Corporation, UTC. Please do not respond to this announcement. A formal solicitation will NOT follow this announcement. The Government intends to award $744,881, for additional effort to Universal Technology Corporation, UTC, Dayton, OH for an additional study for the possible methods of providing energy and fuel for the Wright-Patterson AFB Energy Neutral Installation Initiative (WPAFB NetZero). This effort is to be funded under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009. This is one time funding. The objective of the study is make recommendations for how WPAFB can become energy neutral while minimizing environmental impacts through various methods of alternative energy production/generation by studying the existing infrastructure and available resources near WPAFB, OH.
