BA.UN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- On Friday, September 18, Bell Aliant will announce details on the FibreOP(TM) residential services now available in areas of Fredericton on the only 100% fibre-optic network. The first in Canada to launch fibre to the home to an entire city, Bell Aliant will provide customers with the ultimate experience for Internet and video services, including High Definition television.

Media are invited to speak with Heather Tulk, Senior VP of Customer Solutions, Bell Aliant, and view a live demonstration of FibreOP.

On July 7, Bell Aliant announced that with the support of the Government of New Brunswick, it would invest $60 million to serve 70,000 homes and businesses in Fredericton and Saint John by mid 2010.
