In detail, the subsidiary was jointly formed by TCL Huizhou Environmental Protection Company, Tianjin Borg Metal Products Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Ziya Environmental Protection Industry Park Co., Ltd. in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, south China. It will be the largest dismantling base for waste household appliances in China, with a waste household appliance processing capacity of 100,000 tons yearly in the first phase.
It is the embodiment of a company to fulfill its social responsibility by doing this, said a person in the know, adding that the waste household appliance recycling industry is an emerging industry, namely, it has huge development potential.
Besides, nine Chinese cities have publicized the company list for household appliance sales and recycling businesses now. And TCL and Haier Group have gained the bids in terms of recycling segment in Beijing.
