DiMartino joined Grange in 2004 as vice president of product pricing and research. Prior to that, he held risk management and analytic roles with Bank One and Associates First Capital. DiMartino also was an adjunct faculty member in the economics department at Ohio Dominican University and Northeastern University.
Also, Grange said Barry Hunlock will step into the role as vice president of personal lines operations. He will report to DiMartino.
Grange Mutual Casualty Co. specializes in private passenger automobile and homeowners multiperil business. Some 52% of the company's direct written premium represents private passenger auto, according to an AMB Credit Report. The company operates in six primarily central states with about 60% of all direct written business written in the state of Ohio, particularly in suburban regions.
Members of the Grange Mutual Casualty Pool currently have a Best's Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent).
