VeruTEK Technologies Announces the Launch of VeruSOLVE(TM) Peroxide, a Green Product for the Remediation of Contaminated Soils,

VerySOLVE(TM) Peroxide, the first product in its new VeruSOLVE(TM) line of
green combination plant surfactant/oxidant formulations for the cleanup
of environmental contaminants including coal tar, creosote, chlorinated
solvents, PCBs and other organic contaminants. VeruSOLVE(TM)
Peroxide is a proprietary combination of biodegradable plant
surfactants and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which is
safe and effective in the cleanup of sources of contamination in soil
and groundwater. VeruSOLVE products target and destroy toxic
contaminants in soils, sediments, surfaces and groundwater. VeruSOLVE
Peroxide will be available for sale in November 2009.
John Collins, Ph.D., VeruTEK CEO, said "the combination of plant
surfactants and hydrogen peroxide is a game-changing, green and safe
remedial technology. Our green technologies are 10 times more energy and
carbon efficient than landfilling or incineration and much less

VeruTEK scientists invented Surfactant-Enhanced In Situ Chemical
Oxidation (S-ISCO(TM)) in 2006 to clean up coal tar and
creosote in soils and groundwater. Since then, VeruTEK's S-ISCO(TM)
technology platform has been applied to remedy other toxic contaminants
as well. Last year, in a major scientific breakthrough, VeruTEK
scientists were able to stabilize plant surfactants with various
oxidants including sodium persulfate and hydrogen peroxide.
