VeruTEK scientists invented Surfactant-Enhanced In Situ Chemical Oxidation (S-ISCO(TM)) in 2006 to clean up coal tar and creosote in soils and groundwater. Since then, VeruTEK's S-ISCO(TM) technology platform has been applied to remedy other toxic contaminants as well. Last year, in a major scientific breakthrough, VeruTEK scientists were able to stabilize plant surfactants with various oxidants including sodium persulfate and hydrogen peroxide.
