Alan B. Miller, a William and Mary alumnus, will be the featured speaker. He is the founder, CEO and chairman of Universal Health Services Inc., one of the nation's largest health-care management companies.
The King of Prussia, Pa.-based company primarily owns and operates, through subsidiaries, hospitals, behavioral health centers, ambulatory surgery centers and radiation oncology centers and employs more than 38,000 people.
The event will be held at 4 p.m. in the Brinkley Commons Room in the new Alan B. Miller Hall, named in honor of Miller.
Miller will speak about health-care legislation facing Congress and answer questions. The event is free and open to the public.
The forum is hosted by the college's Americans for Informed Democracy chapter, a non-partisan student group dedicated to informing the community about local, national and international affairs, said John F. Kirn III, the group's president.
