Kitni... is the story of Arjun Punj, the son of a business tycoon who falls in love with Aarohi Sharma, a small town girl who aspires to be a singer. Arjun lets go of his luxurious lifestyle to be with the love of his life only to land up in jail -- wrongly convicted for Aarohi's father's murder. As the curtains draw to a close on this romantic series, we caught up with the lead actors Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra to talk about their chemistry on the show and the journey so far. "It may be the last episode today but it's still not sinking in. The show has been an excellent platform for me and will always be very special. I have worked with the best production house and some of the best actors and it's difficult to let it all go. I wish I could start shooting all over again right from the first episode," says Kritika nostalgically. "It's been great working with Karan (Kundra) and I hope I get another opportunity to work with him. On reality shows overshadowing family dramas, I believe it's just a trend -- it began with saas, bahu soaps and was followed with shows on social issues and now, reality shows are the latest buzz word. I personally believe, there has recently been an overdose of reality shows. While it's fair for channels to adopt new strategies to face competetion, the focus should also be on making reality shows with an interesting concept." adds the telly star. Karan Kundra who played the lead actor in the show agrees, "I feel lucky to have worked with Kritika because she is a great actor. We shared a comfort level which was very evident on screen. It's been a beautiful journey with her as well as the other actors. I am extremely sad since this was my first show on television and still can't believe that it's over." The show that brought fresh air of romance midst the saas, bahu sagas, seems to have lost the race to reality shows. Kitni Mohobbat Hai will be replaced by the much awaited show Pati Patni aur Woh which is to begin on September 28. Be it Khatron ke Khiladi, Is Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Swawamvar -- Season 2, Pati Patni aur Woh or Perfect Bride -- reality shows are ruling prime time television and have become the new success mantra to garner TRPs.
