On November 4, 2008, Globecomm announced a contract from this customer valued at approximately $27 million. This change order brings the combined contract value to $28 million.
Paul Knudsen, Vice President of Globecomm's Eastern Atlantic Team, said, "We are happy to extend our relationship with one of our key customers and look forward to continued execution of this contract."
Globecomm Systems is a provider of satellite-based communication products, services and solutions by leveraging its core satellite ground segment systems and network capabilities, with its satellite communication services capabilities. The products and services Globecomm offers include pre-engineered systems, systems design and integration services, managed network services and life cycle support services. Globecomm's customers include communications service providers, commercial enterprises, broadcast and other media and content providers and government and government-related entities.
