A number of home appliance manufacturers have joined hands with online payment platform operators to initiate online sale in succession, noted industry watchers. China has had an Internet user base of 338 million, ranking the first place in the world, according to the latest statistics. Notably, more than 55 million of the Internet users are in favor of online shopping.
In the first eight months of 2009, TCL sold 4.4 million LCD TVs globally, outpacing the number in the full year 2008. Output and sales volume in 2009 are forecasted to reach 8 million this year. Moreover, its LCD TV online sale will seek a robust growth, forecasted an executive for the company.
