Jackson Hewitt Tax School Course Provides Opportunity for Students to Earn College-Level Credit

Students who are currently taking the course, whether in the classroom at Jackson Hewitt locations nationwide, or online through the Jackson Hewitt online tax school located at www.taxschool.com, as well as those who successfully completed the course in 2007 or 2008, can submit appropriate verification to the University of Phoenix to obtain up to 4.5 credits toward a Bachelor's Degree.*

The Jackson Hewitt Basic Income Tax Course, divided into three levels, is a progressive tax education program for the beginner student - no prior tax preparation experience is required. Students work through sample problems and learn how to complete tax forms and schedules, covering a range of topics, from filing status, credits, deductions and IRS e-file, and more complex topics such as interest, dividends, capital gains, IRAs, depreciation, Schedule E and basis of property.
