Ridgewood Energy has a 23-year history of partnering directly in major Gulf of Mexico oil and gas projects with leading exploration and production companies.
Morris comes to Ridgewood Energy after spending eight years with BP in key roles and having led a strategy focused on the definition and exploitation of 'infrastructure-led' exploration opportunities, both on shore and in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to BP, Morris worked for firms including Arco Oil and Gas Company and Vastar Resources. He also established a successful individual exploration consulting business.

Morris lives in Houston, and he will be based in Ridgewood Energy's Houston office. He holds BS and MS degrees in geophysics from Texas A&M University.
