Most recently, Mr Brown served as a member of Goldman Sachs's global financial institutions investment banking group. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he held the same position at Lehman Brothers and began his career as a certified public accountant with Coopers & Lybrand.
Mr Goldsmith joins FBR Capital Markets following nearly 10 years at Banc of America Securities where he was most recently a managing director within its real estate and lodging investment banking group. He was previously an associate with Montgomery Securities, which later became part of Banc of America Securities.
Mr Guida joins FBR Capital Markets from Morgan Stanley where he was an executive director within the firm's European financial institutions investment banking group. Previously, he was a vice president within the financial institutions group at JPMorgan Chase & Company.
James Neuhauser, executive vice president and head of investment banking business at FBR Capital Markets, said: "We continue to actively seek and attract top talent to broaden our investment banking platform. Each member of this veteran team has more than 15 years of experience at leading capital markets firms, and their knowledge and expertise will be valuable as we expand our portfolio of services and create new opportunities for clients."
