Rebrin has been acting as temporary CEO since May 2009, when Jaime Paredes resigned from the position. Based In Miami, he will be responsible for general and life insurance business in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela and Mexico.
Rebrin joined the company in 1999 and was head of corporate development at Zurich Brazil. He was appointed chief operating officer for Zurich Latin America in 2007, Zurich said.
