The company will provide programmatic support to the IPTs through all phases of naval aviation training system acquisition including research, design, development, engineering, procurement, testing and evaluation; and in-service engineering and logistics support. It will also provide program administration, financial management, systems engineering, and logistics support as required.
The work will be undertaken primarily in Maryland, California, Washington and North Carolina.
Debbie James, senior vice president and business unit general manager at SAIC, said: "We look forward to providing NAVAIR and PMA 205 with quality services to help provide program managers and the Fleet with the technical support they need to accomplish their critical missions."
Earlier this month, SAIC won a five-year $26m follow-on contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division to provide engineering, technical, and management services. It also won a five-year $19m contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport Division to provide engineering, technical, and management services.
