ENGLEWOOD, CO, Oct 01, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- TTEC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- TeleTech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC), one of the largest and most geographically diverse global providers of business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, today announced its premier sponsorship of the Susan G. Komen Denver Race for the Cure(R). TeleTech and its employees have consistently earned recognition as one of Denver's top corporate donors. More than 200 TeleTech team members are expected to participate in Sunday's race.

TeleTech is one of just five local premier sponsors. The premier sponsorship is a direct result of TeleTech employees' tremendous passion for the cause. In addition to the corporate sponsorship, TeleTech employees have raised more than $100,000 for the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the past four years, including race registration fees.

"We are very proud of our employees' remarkable efforts to support such an important cause," said Kenneth Tuchman, TeleTech chairman and chief executive officer. "In four years, we have more than doubled the number of TeleTech team registrants and significantly increased the amount of donations."

New this year, Jennifer Alverson and Kelsey Pachak, two TeleTech employees, along with TeleTech's chief financial officer John Troka, will cheer on thousands of runners and walkers as the official starters of the 2009 Komen Denver Race for the Cure.

Alverson and Pachak spearheaded TeleTech's fundraising efforts for the Denver race. "The first year we had three weeks to get the word out about the race. We managed to get more than 100 people on our team and raised nearly $20,000. After that, we certainly started getting attention," said Ms. Alverson, whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago, and is a healthy survivor today who supports Komen's efforts.

The TeleTech Community Foundation has developed creative ways to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure beyond encouraging employees to register for the Komen Denver Race for the Cure. During the company's annual 'Pink Week,' TeleTech employees raise money through:

-- Selling casual days to employees
-- Selling pink food in the company cafeteria
-- Selling items at a silent auction
-- Accepting donations in the form of paid time off, which is converted
    into monetary donations to Komen
