Another special feature will be the ability to use Saffronart's new mobile bidding application, which enables auctioneers to bid for their favorite pieces via mobile phone with all the capabilities of regular online bidding. Already receiving a strong positive response, with a successful debut at Saffronart's recent September Online Auction, the company anticipates increasing numbers of mobile sales as more customers learn and begin using the application.
The October auction will be accompanied by an illustrated catalogue, exclusive preview events in New Delhi and Mumbai and followed by a series of global events aimed at raising awareness about India's critical position in the global jewelry market and its multifaceted gemological heritage.
