PowerRating -- Enbridge Energy Partners (NYSE:EEP), a US pipeline operator, is
considering selling some of its non-core natural gas assets, the
company has said.
The assets' fair price is expected to be lower than the book value,
which may lead to a USD65m (EUR 44.4m) impairment charge, affecting its
three-month and nine-month figures.
The funds from the sale of Enbridge's assets, based in Texas, will be
used in the company's expansion projects.
