Arch Insurance Group launches new side A enhancement products

Oct 06, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- ACGL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Arch Insurance Group, a member of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group, has launched its new side A enhancement products called Arch Personal Advantage and Arch Personal Advantage IDL.

Arch Insurance said that Arch Personal Advantage is designed to protect the personal assets of companies' directors and officers. Arch Personal Advantage is offered in conjunction with Arch's Broad Form Management Liability policy.

Arch Personal Advantage (IDL) is offered in conjunction with the company's Independent Director Liability policy. These two product enhancements represent a comprehensive solution for personal asset protection of Directors and Officers when indemnification is otherwise not available, said Arch Insurance. This coverage is offered for public and private companies across all industries.

John Rafferty, senior executive vice president of Arch's executive assurance division, said: "We've bolstered Arch's side A liability products to create a level of protection that helps companies protect their management against potentially devastating exposures in this turbulent market. Combined with our financial strength and tenure in the side A marketplace, Arch Personal Advantage offers a turn-key solution for industry-leading non-indemnifiable protection."
