The company has said that the commercial rooftop solar system will deploy polycrystalline solar modules provided by GE and power inverters provided by Ingeteam. A private investor group that has leased the commercial rooftop for a 25-year term is funding the system purchase.
Bjorn Persson, executive vice president of European operations for Premier Power, said: "The high return and low risk profile of a Premier Power solar system are driving private investors and business owners alike to invest in Premier Power solar systems.
"We continue to see a substantial growth opportunity in Spain for rooftop and building integrated solar energy systems, and with our global experience and engineering and design expertise, we feel we are strongly positioned to build on our leadership role in this fast growing market."
