According to the company, HyperCube is preparing for an increase in IP voice traffic across its network. The Sonus based network deployment is initially designed for secure IP-peering, session control and media management of IP traffic across the network and as a gateway into the company's existing long distance core network.
The network is expected to enable HyperCube to simplify the management of IP and TDM traffic, making operations more efficient while increasing capacity.
The company is deploying a full suite of Sonus' solutions, including the Sonus GSX9000 with Sonus Network Border Switch, the Sonus PSX Policy Server, the Sonus SGX and the Sonus Insight Management System.
HyperCube is a provider of local and national tandem services to US carriers.
