Anthony Artist McAllister entered First Citizens Bank at 1920 Peace Haven Road about 9:05 a.m. on Aug. 25 and approached the teller armed with a knife, according to Winston-Salem police.
He left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
On Sept. 29 about 10 a.m., McAllister, who did not display a weapon this time, entered the same bank and demanded money, police said.
On Monday, detectives arrested McAllister, of 3510-A Wimberly Lane in Winston-Salem.
He was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and common law robbery.
McAllister was being held in the Forsyth County jail under a $100,000 bond.
A court date was set for Oct. 23.
