("the Company") has closed a non-brokered private placement of 10,000,000 units at $0.025 per unit for gross proceeds of $250,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one five-year share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company at a price of $0.05 in the first year and $0.10 in the following four years. The warrants will expire on September 30, 2014. A finder's fee was paid in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. The shares and share purchase warrants issued as part of the private placement, including common shares issued upon exercise of the share purchase warrants, are subject to hold periods in British Columbia expiring on January 30, 2010. The proceeds of this private placement will be used for general working capital purposes.
