Under the agreement, financial details of which were not known, Veraz will work with Adwest, an integrated systems and solutions provider in East Africa, to provide JTL with an advanced voice services infrastructure with centralised management and support for both TDM and IP applications.
Veraz said that its ControlSwitch solution enables Class 4 switching capabilities, plus control over signalling and transport between central offices of any mix of JTL's TDM and IP-based traffic.
This system enables global carriers to deliver top of the range services to and from East Africa through JTL.
