The solar power developer said the project is valued as high as $3 million. The commercial rooftop solar system will have polycrystalline solar modules provided by General Electric and power inverters provided by Ingeteam in the Czech Republic.
Premier Power said a private investor group has leased the rooftop for 25 years and is funding the system purchase.
Bjorn Persson, executive vice president of European operations for Premier Power, said the Spanish market remains a hotbed of solar power potential.
"We continue to see a substantial growth opportunity in Spain for rooftop and building integrated solar energy systems, and o we feel we are strongly positioned to build on our leadership role in this fast--growing market."
