Mr Witt has worked in the energy industry for 28 years including management positions with major energy companies and has served as CFO for three publicly traded energy companies prior to joining Mainland Resources.
Since March 2003, Mr Witt has served as president of Commercial Energy Services, which provides energy consulting and financial management services.
During this time, from May 2005 to February 2007, Mr Witt served as CFO for GFI Oil & Gas Corporation, an internationally focused exploration and production company.
From February 2002 through March 2003, Mr Witt worked with Goldman Sachs & Company in New York City as Vice President of energy commodities risk management.
