The results were much the same as Albemarle easily won 3-0 over the Hornets.
Mariah Lowder paced Albemarle (16-1, 13-0 YVC) with 15 kills and seven digs, while Paige McConologue had six kills and six digs.
Lydia East had four service aces for the Bulldogs while Samantha Braunsberg led Albemarle with six aces and 27 assists.
"We still have a lot to work on,"aEUR^Albemarle head coach Joanne McConologue said.
"We worked on our hitting tonight because I have confidence in our defense. We need to have three hitters by the postseason."
Albemarle returns to Yadkin Valley Conference play tonight at 6 when the Bulldogs travel to Gray Stone to face a Knights squad that McConologue said has a strong defense and "really digs well."
