Andrews will lead the Company's capital deployment efforts with not-for-profit and for-profit hospitals and health systems. He reports to Raymond J. Lewis, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.

Andrews has almost 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, which has included business development and designing and implementing capital financing programs for hospitals. Prior to joining Ventas, Andrews most recently was a Managing Director in the Healthcare and Housing Group of Financial Security Assurance (FSA). Prior to that, he worked as a healthcare investment banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co., American Health Capital, Inc., Paine Webber/Blyth, Eastman Dillon and Atlanta National Real Estate Trust/Hospital Investors, Inc.
