NOTICE TEXT: Department of the Army U. S. Army Materiel Command U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command - Red River Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX has a requirement for a requirements type contract for 8.3 Cummins Diesel Engine Overhaul and Gasket Kits. These kits include: Overhaul kit, thick long sleeve, P/N 4920045, QTY: 192 kits; Overhaul kit, 3mm short sleeve, P/N 4955181, QTY: 289 kits; and Gasket kit, lower engine, P/N 3800558, QTY: 482 kits. These kits are applies to the M900 Series 5-Ton truck. The total period of performance is from Nov 2009 to Nov 2014. This is an ALL OR NONE purchase resulting in ONE AWARD. The required delivery will be 30 days after date of award. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts are required. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 19 Oct 09 and the anticipated award date is 10 Nov 09. The solicitation will be posted to Fed Biz Ops and the Red River Web Site. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. This requirement is sole source to Cummins Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
