According to the news source, the new improved diesel helps in maintaining fuel injector cleanliness and optimum engine performance along with curtailing deposits. In addition, Caltex Diesel with TechronD is EURO2M specifications compliant.
Also, the new Caltex Diesel with TechronD is reportedly suitable for all diesel vehicles and meets Malaysia's diesel quality standards as well as Chevron's strict quality standards for all Caltex fuels.
All Caltex service stations will sell Caltex Diesel with TechronD at the same government mandated price as the previous diesel product despite it being a new formulation providing additional product benefits, the report said.
