Based in Lauderdale Lakes, 21st Century is the parent of Federated National Insurance Co., which has more than 30,000 residential insurance policies in Florida.
21st Century recently received state approval to increase rates by a statewide average of 19 percent.
Officials from 21st Century did not return a call or e-mail asking whether the company is considering accepting the offer.
