With this latest acquisition, Yonder Media serves 22 rural communities in the US. The finalized acquisition of SpeediWiFi adds to Yonder Media's previously announced acquisition of SureWest Communications' fixed broadband wireless assets, near Roseville, California.
Dirk Christiansen, president and COO of Yonder Media, said: "This latest acquisition of SpeediWiFi adds another rural market as we meet our goal to expand nationally. We will begin the transition and re-branding existing residential and business customers, allowing them to tap into premium and essential high-speed internet services."
