Huaneng International had seen a year on year decline of 5.84 percent in the power generation in the first half of 2009, which was 86.107 billion kilowatt hours.
The power generator on Wednesday announced that its power generation accumulated to 144.7 billion kilowatt hours in Jan.-Sept. of 2009, up by 3.1 percent if compared to 140.4 billion kilowatt hours in the same period last year.
Huaneng attributed the power generation growth to the contribution of acquired and newly operated power generation units.
