According to PBSO, the incident happened along the 6000 block of Homeland Road in suburban Lake Worth.
Deputies were dispatched to the home shortly before 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. They found a woman dead from a gunshot wound and a man who suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to Delray Medical Center. His condition is not known.
No identities have been released and the investigation is continuing.
