TAM reports domestic load factor of 65.4% and international load factor of 76.1% for September

PowerRating -- Brazilian airline TAM (NYSE:TAM) (BOVESPA:TAMM4) announced on Thursday
that it recorded a domestic load factor of 65.4% and an international
load factor of 76.1% for September 2009, an increase of 0.8 percentage
points and a decrease of 4.3 percentage points, respectively, compared
to the same period of last year.
Domestic revenue passenger miles (traffic) for the month rose by 8.6%
compared to September 2008, while available seat miles (capacity) grew
by 7.4%. Domestic market share was 44.1%, down 8.7 percentage points.
International traffic for September 2009 increased 15.0% compared to
the same period of last year, while capacity improved by 21.4%.
International market share for the month was 87.3%, up 5.2 percentage
points compared to September 2008.
