Shah as executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary. He most recently served as EVP and CFO of Cadence Innovation LLC, a manufacturer of automotive interior systems.
Prior to Cadence, Shah served as CFO at Remy International, a manufacturer of automotive and commercial products from 2002 to 2006.
He will assume his new role at X-Rite on October 19.
Grand Rapids, Michigan-based X-Rite offers color science and technology. The company -- which now includes Pantone, develops -- manufactures, markets and supports color solutions through measurement systems, software, color standards and services.
X-Rite serves a range of industries, including printing, packaging, photography, graphic design, video, automotive, paints, plastics, textiles, dental and medical.
