Michael Minjarez, 38, of Stockton is believed to be the bandit who robbed the United Security Bank at 2151 West Shaw Ave. on Sept. 25 and again on Sept. 28, Fresno police Sgt. Dave Ramos said.
Minjarez was taken into custody Monday in Firebaugh. Ramos said Minjarez, who was paroled after serving 10 years in prison for robbery, was identified by detective Leon Martinez with the help of the state Department of Corrections. Minjarez also is believed be responsible for two bank robberies in Stockton and a bank robbery in Madera.
