Domingo Pascual, 24, was walking with two friends about 9:50 p.m. in the 7000 block of Thatcher Avenue in Lake Worth when a man walked up and opened fire, said Deputy Eric Davis, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Pascual was shot in the leg and in the arm, Davis said.
Rescuers flew him to Delray Medical Center, where he is expected to recover. Davis said he was in critical but stable condition today.
Detectives as of this afternoon hadn't made any arrests yet in the case.
