FalconStor said its storage virtualization and data replication solutions for virtual servers are now integrated and available for Oracle VM, bringing a level of data protection, recoverability and continuous availability to Oracle virtual environments. "Oracle's collaboration with FalconStor complements the Oracle VM environment with well-integrated storage virtualization and data protection capabilities that bring value to our customers," said Wim Coekaerts, VP of Linux and Virtualization Engineering, Oracle. "Oracle VM helps customers drive down the cost and complexity of their enterprise IT infrastructures, while FalconStor solutions introduce viable data availability and rapid recovery." FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS), an intelligent storage virtualization and provisioning platform, integrates with Oracle VM to enable data mobility and centralized storage management for Oracle VM servers. FalconStor Continuous Data Protector (CDP) integrates with Oracle VM deployments to provide WAN-optimized replication and to enable automated and operations failover to a remote disaster recovery site.
