As businesses navigate the turbulent economic environment towards a period of recovery, Mr. Dauman will share how the need to embrace innovation and a global vision has never been more critical. He will discuss how technology will serve as a gateway to these new opportunities, and how the protection of intellectual property will be one of the most important challenges to maintain America's competitiveness in the global arena.
Mr. Dauman was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Viacom Inc. in September 2006 and has served on the company's Board of Directors since 1987. Viacom, consisting of BET Networks, MTV Networks and Paramount Pictures, is the world's leading entertainment company.
The program will be held at the Hilton Chicago in the International Ballroom, 2nd Floor. A networking reception will take place at 11:45 a.m., with the luncheon at 12:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $57.50 for Executives' Club members; $78.50 for non-members.
The program will be preceded by the Club's Technology Conference, "Improving IT's Relevance by Creating New Business Modes." The Conference will feature a panel discussion with Kent D. Barnett, Chief Executives Officer of KnowledgeAdvisors, Inc.; Lauralee Martin, Global Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle; Philippe Schaillee, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of North American Retail and Foodservice for Sara Lee Corporation; and Adam L. Stanley, Global Chief Technology Officer of Aon Corporation. The panel will be moderated by Staci Trackey Meagher, General Manager, Midwest District, Microsoft Corporation.
The Technology Conference will take place from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Continental Foyer and Lobby at the Hilton Chicago. The cost to attend is $100 for Executives' Club members; $150 for non-members.
