Canadian Solar Announces Exercise of Option to Purchase Additional Shares
ONTARIO, Canada, Oct. 19 -- Canadian Solar Inc. (the "Company", "Canadian Solar" or "we") (Nasdaq: CSIQ | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) today announced that the underwriters of its previously announced follow-on public offering of common stock have fully exercised their option to purchase 900,000 additional shares of common stock. The option was granted in connection with the follow-on public offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $15.75 per share. The exercise of the option brings the expected total net proceeds to approximately $103.3 million after underwriting discounts and commissions and before offering expenses.
